How big your ego is?
Yesterday went to watch Kung Fu Panda with my blur blur and bb primers after NDP training. IT SERIOUSLY CUTTEEEEEE, especially the panda! I love panda, I love panda. Especially the facial expression and the way he talks. I give a 4.5 star over 5. Thumb up!
There is this cartoon character name “Tai lang”, a very highly skilled in kung fu is say to be the Kung Fu Warrior but the “Wu Gui” (The master of Kung Fu) see the evil in him and decided not to let Tai lang to be the Kung Fu Warrior and have the secret script of Kung Fu being pass to him.
This cause Tai lang to have a very deep hatred and causes great disaster in the city, he was finally capture down by the Wu Gui and prison for 20 Years.
Some how, he manage to escape from the prison and went for a revenge, even wanted to kill his “Shifu” and anyone that block his way to be the Kung Fu Warrior.
This movie allows me to have a great laugh, seeing my blur blur laughing like mad and that really cute la!
Looking at Tai Lang remind me of myself at the same time. Ever since young, I never wanted to lose because I hate to be a loser in any area of my life, even a simple basketball game. Mummy always says “yee cheng ah, being too egotistic will only bring bad to you.” I never listen; this is a natural character I have in me.
Luckily, I have my religion, my senior that teaches me that this shouldn’t be the way to live, to win. I can’t possibly have the whole world in my hand.
I remember my senior ask me this “How big is your ego?”
“Very big” I said
“What are you ego in?” he asked
“Earning big money, highly status in the society.” I replied proudly. I was only 15 at then.
My mind was filled with big dream, a burning sensation that drives me like nuts. I want to be a millionaire!!! RIGHT NOW!
“Only if you can have your big ego in saving people, making this a better world to live in, then your ego shall grow.” He said and giving a smile.
Egotistic kill life, many many lives I mean. It control human mind that will lost our human moral values, willing to do any things, even killing, murdering of someone, just to win something.
There is this youth leader that says this to us before “you can do bad things if it only harms yourself. If you do bad things that harm others beside yourself, then that a big sin you have to bear.”
How true. Now, if you will to ask me “how ego are you?” I would say I still have very big ego in me but most of it is to saving back the human moral value and people around. Of course, I still have others things that I’m ego in but that normal human being behavior as long as it doesn’t harm anyone around.
So people, how big your ego is?
