Speedy-por-rean
Yesterday micky asked me why I walk so slowly and I reply her that I don’t want to miss anything that happen around me and this remind me of a news report that I read last year, if I don’t remember wrongly.
Base on UK research
Researchers in the UK have discovered that Singaporeans have the fastest walking speed amongst 32 international cities. According to this research the “Singapore shuffle” is officially a myth. The researchers timed how long it took 35 men and women to walk along a 60ft stretch of pavement and the 10 fastest walking times were:
1) Singapore (Singapore); 10.552)
2)Copenhagen (Denmark); 10.823)
3)Madrid (Spain); 10.894)
4)Guangzhou (China): 10.945)
5)Dublin (Ireland); 11.036)
6)Curitiba (Brazil); 11.137)
7)Berlin (Germany); 11.168)
8)New York (US); 12.009)
9)Utrecht (Netherlands); 12.0410)
10)Vienna (Austria); 12.06

Last year October, Joshua shared his problem with me and this is how I reply him.
“All of us are walking too fast in pace that we tend to overlook a lot of things that is happening around us. When tend to listen less to people around, we tend to see less things around, we tend to be impatient and as time goes by, we are the central self and only YOU yourself is the most important of all and not others. The heart of door eventually closes up and nobody get to step in no more. It only when we slow down our foot step, then we are able to view things more clearly, able to listen to others with more patience, everything in us is much more down to earth.”
Tips for the day: For every single foot step you take is a new adventure to the next great beginning.

LOL!! why are we rushing arh …so easy we jump queue, rush to be first on bus or train during rush hour, get food at canteen first, get special offer, always sleep late play games, hang out or do work and next day cant wake up in time for work or school then rush like mad. Late for work too many times pay cut and warning, late for school prefects write your name down some giving you the sucky attitude then need to have punishments during recess time or after school. Rush to your car because you forgot to put the parking coupon scared of being fined by carpark officers. Rush to smoke a few sticks of cigarettes during your toilet break or get a cup of coffee and buy a can of drink. We rush…we rush then even when there is nothing to do we still rush, play mahjong also fast. Play pool also rush scared waste time then need to pay more. At home dont relax, must do housework then must also do fast, eat fast, sleep fast, dream fast…then finally we do the same cycle again everyday 365 days without much changes and we die without knowing why we were rushing that badly for… to reincarnate? XD There you have it a rough summary of what most singaporeans do and why they are probably rushing for…cos im one of those singaporean high speed rushers with modified nitros at the heels of my feet reminds me of ants LOL!!
